Beat Up Quick Connects-Unloader or?

I read a post on here about someone getting a K1? unloader to reduce kickback on the gun when the trigger is pulled and somewhere in there it mentioned that the kick will mess up the QC. I had never though about it until then, just assumed it was normal. Looked at all the male ends today and they look like a midget with a ballpeen hammer has been having a field day on them. My guess is that is the unloader kick causing it. It’s direct drive so I don’t know if a different unloader would make any difference or not. Some of you old hands have any input? Thanks

I run Parker ST series quick disconnect couplings exclusively. Mixing different couplers and nipples will add to the issue. All my Parker couplers are brass and all my nipples are steel they fit very snug unlike mixing different manufacturers quick disconnects. Their steel nipples are case hardened for resistance to Brinelling which is what you’re seeing. They are also plated with Zinc and Clear Trivalent Chromate. And the pulsation from the triplex plunger pumps is what causes the issue more so than kick from a pressure actuated unloader. I run a ZK1 though
