Very true , words to ponder on for sure.
Iāve got Milwaukee hand tools. When HD had the blower for $99 I picked it up. Itās great! I have no idea about the chainsaw though.
My mate showed me his telescopic battery powered chainsaw then did a demo and cut down some coconuts and fronds and it did a good job.
Ozito Chinese brand $50
Amazing that they are so cheap
Off topic for one second before I forget and donāt see ya on here for a spell @AUSSIE .
I love you in you new Aussie show sir.
(Mr in between). You a bad asparagus man.
We are going to Queensland Australia next year to visit my wifeās little sister. Hope your close. I want a buggy ride from you in the outback.
Hey @Hotshot Iām not that close -1769miles to Brisbane from my house.
But hit me with a PM if ya want regarding your travel dates Iām actually heading over Queensland way January 3-10 for a 30th birthday party and great barrier reef mission and will be over again later in the year.
All asparagus is bad man lol
Iām going to have to pull up this "mr in between " for a look
That what my thought process isā¦ not worried about bar oil, that can be avoided. But during hunting season sure wud be nice to keep in truck.
Recip saw w/ pruning is the only thing i use when hanging stands, and for light stuff around the house. But more than a small branch and you meed more.
stihl is running special for 1/2 off batteries thru Dec. i got some time to decide. Shoot i even have birthday and Christmas in Dec, might be a good present.
@DisplacedTexan those top handle climbing saws are awesomeā¦ i used to use stihl 200t extensively when i was at the golf courseā¦ great for limbing and small stuff. Dont have enough guts for big stuff, but they those old ones are workhorses.
Ryobi 18v blower is amazing. I didnt want to even try one but after i did it amazed me how strong they are. I only used it for about 15mins so couldnāt tell you more. I still wanted to hate it because it was electric but its honestly impressive.
I small electric would be perfect for cleaning up a hunting spot. I normally use hand tools and will probably stick to though for awhile.
Electric chainsaws suck. The only thing they are good for is spending money on something that is worthless. I guess if you just wanted something that you may need once a year to make 3 or 4 cuts maybe then maybe itās a good option. The saw I use most is a stihl ms250.
Not for me that is horrible for tree limbs.it will bite onto the tree limb and just shake it back and forth.
Those hand pruners aint doing nothing unless your in your green house Mr. Miyagi.
Now they do make some ratcheting hand pruners, they are okā¦ but still a waste of time if you have a hand saw, loppers, etc.
Those things work great for thumb sized branches and under. Anything bigger and the saw will make quick work of it. I cut 4 inch think branches with it in 3 or 4 cuts. Have you ever tried one?
Have you considered taking in a stray beaver? You could just walk him on a leash in what ever trails you need trimmed.
If he cant reach some just hold him up with your hands.
We cut down 2 pine trees with a Ryobi 40v and still had 1/4 battery left. I was blown away by it!
Mr Schafety has spoken @Donut, Buy the dang thing and be done with it buddy. I remember that pic @SchertzServicesLLC. Same trees?
Yes sir! It was cutting through some pretty big logs like nothing. I know pine is super soft, but I was impressed.
Donāt let the ryobi batteryās die fully and not immediately charge them. Apparently the charger will detect a bad battery if you do this.
Lolā¦ actually going to borrow my buddies Stihl 140 and blower and see how i like em.
Looks like i have a shot of getting even cheaper Stihl stuff if its pulled off line to test.
Can u buy a 18v and do some testing?
40V ryobi worthless to me.
