Basic Truck Set Up

I’m just happy when I can remember what side of the shop or garage I put it on, lol.

I’ve found of if it’s not in your pocket you can generally live without it for a few hours.

I told you. I’m a certifiable lunatic. In one of the pics you can see all the labels on the plugs for my battery chargers.

You can’t come in my shop. You will have a meltdown. We’ll just sit in the parking lot and talk

What are we talking? Plastic bags filled with 1% milk? A drawer full of just ironed jeans? A vhs tape recording of Ace of Base? I need to know.

Hopefully all of the above

How many label machines you own? Do you have the front on each drawer or box labeled. Need a couple of distance pics.

When you come visit Innocent, I’ll pay you to come a little further down and just give me a long term game plan on getting my stuff organized. If it tells you anything, I thought Innocents shop was extremely organized, lol.

Just one label machine lol. I don’t put labels on locking drawers for security reasons. In the tubs it’s mostly consumables and replacement parts a thief wouldn’t know what to do with.

Most of the tub labels are just painters tape and sharpie since the contents are always changing

which label machine? I like you can do different sizes

You inspired me today. Went and did one house in the rain then went and bought some shelving to starting getting organized. Not much yet but it’s a start. Going to buy P-touch in the am. It’s monsoon season this week so might as well get something accomplished.

Got the p-touch at Costco a couple years ago.

Those plastic shelves are great for about a year. The big heavy 1000# steel rack shelves go on sale at Home Depot regularly and you can find commercial shelving on Craigslist too. $200 and you’ll have one unit that can survive a bomb blast. And they’ll hold the same amount as those 3.

You need a lockable drawer labeled “UNLABELED DRAWER LEGEND”. Inside that drawer you need a diagram of everything unlabeled. Of course the diagram will be thoroughly labeled.

Great start and it looks great. I bet those would stiffen up considerably if you screwed each shelf to the wall on the back lip.

Atleast he doesnt label the labeling machine

It’s on the list. My kid brother labeled the bench grinder: GRINDR

I bought Blaire a label maker years back. She had a label on Ollie’s head that said “the kid”

Couldn’t find that picture but I found this one!

Yes, I have some of these in my garage along with some nicer steel ones. These are cheap and easy to put together, plus easy to move around but they will bend a little in about a year. The ones in my garage been there about 8-9 years and till about the same amount of deflection. The new ones actually looked like they may have braced the shelves a little better but who knows. It’s weird, ones in my garage, one shelf has 3-4 fuel containers, easily over 100 lbs on and the next shelf probably only has 10 lbs on it and they’ve both sagged the same amount.
