Or get ghetto like me and just zip tie it to the box lol

That pump has been on there all season and hasn’t let go yet!

I too have just started with spraying gutters with housewash mix, brushing, then hitting with mix again before rinsing. I’m seeing faster, cleaner results with less pressure needed. I’m waiting for the mix to do its thing on the rest of that side of the home so it isn’t a big shake for me to do this. I haven’t been consistent, but I’ll try to start off next season doing this method and seeing how it works for me.

I’m going to have to look into getting some of those banjo fittings. My 12v pump currently has the fittings that “lock in” place with a plastic tab.

I’ll also check to ensure I have at least two zip ties to mount it!

I absolutely HATE those locking style ones. They always leaked on me. The ones I use are from Orscheln’s and they’re Gator brand I believe. Can get them at Tractor Supply and Ace Hardware I believe, too. Kinda pricey for what they are but they do work well. I keep a few extras on the trailer. Actually had one of the female ones split in half today. Probably been on there since March so not bad.

You’ll love them. Only way to flow.

As long as you’re getting what you need, nothing else matters. You’re a good guy and do honest work. There will always be room for you in this business.

What are the sources for painter’s pole? I work at height in a 46’ articulated man lift for doing tree work. I’ve been using two fastened PVC schedule 40 poles 6-7’ long but they get heavy after a few operations.

Home Depot and Lowe’s both sell extendable painters poles with a threaded end that will accept a paint roller, most broom and brush heads and whatever else uses that thread type. I buy mine at Lowe’s and carry a couple different sizes. The shorter one is around $20 and I think the bigger one is about twice that. Super handy to have.

The 4’-8’ pole that Harbor Freight sells is better than the one at Lowes and it’s only $9.99. I bent the Lowes 4-8’ the first time I used it. I did get my 8’-24’ from Lowes. It’s a lot stronger than the short one, but still bends a lot fully extended.

That’s the one I have and its great to have. I drilled a hold in my brush and ran a screw through into the pole to keep it from unscrewing.

I went with a 24-ft twist to extend aluminum painters pole and installed my gutter scrubbing / solar panel wiping brush on it. I picked mine up from Lowes and have been happy with it. It is difficult to twist to extend/collapse once you get gutter brightening mix all over your hands and running down the pole.

Do not buy the siding brush at Home Depot. It breaks down really quick. The bi-level brush as Menards holds up perfect to SH. I’ve had the same brush on for 2 years now and it’s still in great shape.

I had that one, too. I preferred it to the Mr. Longarm ones but it was hard to extend and retract. I bent it in half washing red iron girders when I moved the man lift and had it safety strapped on the basket lol

UPDATE
So apparently I was on Santa’s nice list this year. Business was good enough this pst year that we were able to pay down a tremendous amount of debt, refi a car and refi the house. When I asked my wife to ensure that we had a couple hundred bucks set aside come January or February to ensure I can rebuild my wooden ladder rack she asked why don’t I just buy an actual ladder rack. I looked at her in confusion as we’ve never been in the position to allocate money like that to anything other then monthly bills. She must have read my mind and stated that we could easily afford (at the moment) to make such a thing happen. I scored a normally $700 unused ladder rack that someone had incorrectly ordered for their larger truck. I found it on FB marketplace and the guy was asking $300 to get it out of his yard. He even helped me install it in his driveway. I also found a used bed slide and bartered a house/pool deck/driveway wash for it. The bed slide came from a house that had great exposure at the entrance of a prominent neighborhood in the town I work for . It also happens to be the Mayor’s house so bonus points there.

Now I’ve got to figure out how I want to set everything up to my liking.
Merry Christmas y’all!

Good score on the ladder rack. Throw the plywood bed slide away before you are tempted to use it or mount anything on it.

I made it three years on some 2x4’s… have to keep some wood for nostalgia

Hell yeah man good for you! That’s what it’s all about. That’s why you (and I) started this business. A few years ago I was working for someone else, making okay money but not what I was used to making and just burned out on it all. Now, a couple years later, we just paid off the wife’s car, bought a 3000SF completely remodeled house on 7 acres and in a few months I’ll be hiring. God is good and hard work does pay off. Merry Christmas boys and girls!
