Genuinely trying to think through this. One of my ball valves is leaking, causing surging, and having trouble finding a ball valve rated for high enough heat. I have a soft wash system and have been rinsing ball valve on my 8 gpm. It’s been great for quick adjustments for reach and what not. I have thought about a gun and various tips, but keep thinking this is easier. One thing that comes to mind is that sometimes I need to add 25 feet to my 200 ft of hose. A gun would make it unusable without shutting the machine off. Other thing is at the surface cleaner, I have a pressure gauge with bypass valve to reduce the pressure. Another cumbersome component that would be an awkward add if the SF gun wasnt securely attached.
