Atlanta airport this morning about 4:30. There is this long corridor thing that is made to look like you’re in the woods with one of those fancy moving sidewalk thingys on both sides. 16 young sailors crashed out on the floor sleeping. We went to chik fa lay but they didn’t sell gift cards and we didn’t won’t to wake them with food if they were just going to sleep. Wife got a bag of bagels and left beside a group of them. I felt sorry for them. Young kids

Ive been there. Always packed an airplane blanket in my assault pack and used the pack as a pillow. Always woke up feeling like a train wreck

Some of the boxes that went out this past summer/fall had the antenna barb get pressed in during shipping. I know @Seandz is one. Here is the easy fix that will cost you $1 for super glue.
The new units get shipped with a nut on the threads so this will not happen.
Simply pry the antenna mount off the top of the box. This will likely leave the base and small magnetic plate behind. Either drill a small hole (don’t go very deep an damage the antenna) or use a pick to get the metal plate out of the mount. You will then be looking at the inside. See picture where red arrow points. Press on that and it will expose the threads. Install the antenna and glue everything back in place.
I know the units work fine without the antenna extender installed but if you have problems here is the fix. If you don’t feel comfortable doing this and have problems feel free to send me the unit for free repair.

Is your cabin on the same property as your house? Pretty cool to just be able to shoot out to the cabin to relax with a fire.

welcome to winter, it is almost over, well it will be over for “yall” in a day or two. Drove down the mountain to get my haircut yesterday morning, loggers were out in force at a cut 19 degrees out. Skidder smoking like it was on fire.
