Apartment Building Water Key - Hexagonal

Does anyone know of a key that will open this up? All the ones Im seeing online look like square sillcock keys, but this spigot looks hexagonal.

Thanks for your time!

That’s what i figured but was hoping to find a smaller key to throw in the toolbox. Perhaps ill just toss a socket set in there after all

I have no idea why a simple wrencg didnt come to mind. I was expecting some type of 4-in1 deal like the sillcock keys, or a whole socket set. Lesson of the day, don’t overthink lol

I keep 2 1/4" socket rails (one metric, one standard) in my tool bag along with a 1/4" socket wrench. They don’t take up much space. It doesn’t feel as manly as a big half-inch wrench in your hand, but it’s way better than trying to hack at something with a pair of vice grips or whatever. Comes in handy.

Ill be adding those today! Before now I just carried vice grips and every job so far has been regular residential spigots

Be careful using spigots on apartments. They are usually not covered in the winter and are just waiting for an unsuspecting washer to open them and flood an apartment
