Anyone washing near Denver CO

I spent about a week out there, didn’t see much algae, but dirty concrete everywhere. Looks like you have to go to the higher elevations to find algea and mold. I saw lichen everywhere at the higher elevations.

Just curious, does the higher elevation create problems when washing? I’m only about 1.8k higher than sea level, denver is 3k, and some of the towns I was in were about 4-7 k. I know there are higher elevations than that, but for standard towns, I was curious if there were issues other than adjusting engine for altitude.

Denver is known as the mile high city, making it 5,280 ft above sea level. Denver sits in a “bowl” and the surrounding front range area is typically higher in elevation. For the 7 years I lived in Colorado, I wasn’t into washing, but I worked at outdoor power equipment stores and we did sell/repair a few washers. Humidity is a lot less out there for sure and most of the front-range has little large tree coverage. There’s also decent wind to help keep the drier air moving rather than being stagnant. The highest elevation I lived at out there was about 9,000 feet and our house was wood sided. The house and the large wooden deck needed very little attention the 2.5 years we lived in it.

Other than the carbs needing to be rejetted, I can’t think of any thing else that would be odd about washing there. Right now though, that whole area of the country is freaking out about the water supply so that could be an issue. The houses up at higher elevations often times were on low producing wells or they had in-ground cisterns that had to be filled for water supply.
