I’ve made a lot of bets on here. And I’ve only lost once. But Scott @AquaTeamPowerWash turned down pizza… I bet his wife doesn’t even know she coulda had free pizza paid for with Kansas City money due to her husband’s intellectual pressure washing prowess and he coulda had not only had free pizza, but brownie points…

It’s still on the balance sheet as defeat pizza.

Always an option if you run outta the wipes.

On a serious note, would those wipes work for normall sunglasses ya think?

Whether it works or is a piece of junk I’ll be posting a rundown (possibly w/ video).

I gotta be honest, when I was thinking up a solution I totally had something like this in mind but wasn’t sure if it had been created yet. I swear to y’all, if it wasn’t I would have filed for the patent this week!

I’ll take consolation in knowing at least 2 other dudes on the planet had the same idea in mind so I’m not alone in this lol

I think they make sunglass wipes for that purpose. Probably scratch cheap sunglasses with the rain x jams

What’s your address I’ll send you one of these! As long as you post a picture of you wearing it while pressure washing!

Ok guys…so I actually got my product last Friday, even though eBay told me it would be coming this Friday (6th), and was able to put it to the test today. Here’s a quick review:

Like one of the previous posters jokingly brought up, it is basically a small frisbee with a hole in it but a little sturdier and it comes with a small metal ring-clamp to hold it in place. I really didn’t need the clamp as the hole was slightly smaller than my wand nozzle so the item basically held itself in place but with enough give to slide up and down the length of the nozzle.

As far as its actual use, it did exactly as advertised and exactly what I needed it to do. When not in use I just slid the “frisbee” (lol) up the wand to be out of my way and slid it back down to hit those corners. Surprisingly, I was still able to be precise with my strokes and not seeing what you’re spraying was a non-issue. It didn’t completely stop me from getting wet but it eliminated blowback from my mid-thigh on up.

I personally believe it could have been made a little better to justify the $12 price point or just drop it down a few bucks but in all honesty, it got the job done for me and it’s a product I’m gonna be using time and again until it wears out.

Overall, I give it an 8 out of 10 and I recommend this to anyone who had my same issue with getting sprayed with crap on the torso and in the face when cleaning corners/edges.

Im reading this as I sit in my truck hiding from a thunder/electrical storm. I just finished cleaning some stairs and Im soaked. Laughing as I read this because I would rather be soaked than get seen with that thing. Kinda like fanny packs, fat girls, mopeds, Beretta’s. They get the job done but…

What’s wrong with a baretta?

I just really can stand to shoot them. Reliability is not up to par, finicky on what they feed and ugly as can be. Im a Glock guy tho and like I said before, they can get the job done.
This is my OPINION, given because you asked. Not interested in going rounds about all the opinions on Glocks.

I love the look and feel of berretas but unless you have large hands it is hard to work the safety with your dominant hand. Hard trigger pull on first round. I’m a Bersa and revolver guy. Glocks are like ball valves and pressure gauges. Every one wants one at first but they aren’t necessary lol

Permission to derail thread??? Ok good.

  1. The Beretta M9/92 wouldnt have been the service pistol for of military if not reliable. I do not, or have not owned one, but have shot both variants a bit and did not mind them. I do agree with that first DA pull statement.

  2. Revolvers over any semiauto any day of the week. SA, DA, large, small, stainless, blue it doesnt matter…:ok i do prefer stainless…: but do not try and give me some peice of junk with a stupid lock on it.

I’m a huge Ruger fan, but do appreciate the quality, craftsmanship, and beauty of pre-lock Smiths.

  1. Have actually never shot a glock, and dont have a desire to. The Springfield XDs i imagine are similar with the 13 different safety features… but the gun did shoot well.

When it comes to semis… Sig, or 1911. Not much other choices in my eyes. The sig 239 is a great small frame, single stack gun… 229 is a very awesome gun, and the 226 is arguably the best semiautomatic pistol ever assembled.

  1. Rather shot a shotgun.

  2. @Innocentbystander. Really Bersa? They are like the troy bilts of the pressure washer world (maybe not that bad). Have shot on of the .380, dont care for the round in general but it did shoot ok from what i remember.

  3. I love guns.
