Interesting. I’m guessing it is some kind of cutting or shaping tool since it needs to be sharpened. I’m not sure it’s a hand tool. It doesn’t look that ergonomic. Maybe part of a big shop tool.
I remember the wallace brand from shop class. They made all kinds of older style industrial shop tools.
It doesn’t seem to have blades that come to a sharp point. It might work like a cabinet scraper - using the burr on the corner of the blade. That burr doesn’t last long, so it would need a lot of sharpening. Which would make sense with the very prominent sharpening instructions.
I know a gentleman that will have the awnser for sure if the mystery lasts till monday.
