Recently got contacted by a company called harmony homes. It almost seems like a thumbtak minus all the lead fees etc. they basically have customers sign up and offer 24/7 service for any home maintenace and repairs you need. The catch is any leads they give you that lead to a job between 0-2500 they take 15% commision. 2500-25000 that take 10% and anything higher is negotiated percentage. Doesnt seem like a bad idea from them but i dont know how fond i am of giving them such a big percentage of my profit. Also they do not use one company exclusively, they will use us a preferred and if we turn down a job will move on to the next company. I will admit im not sold on it, but i also dont want to turn down the opportunity and give it to another company if they have good results. Theyre fairly new to our area so im not sure how well it will stick. Figured i would head over here and see if anybody had any experience
Any upfront fees? “Membership”, “Account Set-up”, “Monthly Account Fee” or anything else like that?

That’s not really anymore commission than most pay their sales people.

Sounds like a decent way to grow. As long as you’re not in any contractual agreement why not give it a shot?
