Any Pressure Hose recommendations?

Rookie question here, what’s the point of a whip line? Is it to prevent the hose from creasing as it runs to the ground?

End of the hose near the gun tends to go bad first. Sacrificial whip line takes the brunt of the water hammer and is cheaper to replace.

Should I only have one at the gun end, or put one coming off the rig as well?

Good i was hoping it would help… ordered a few 2 ft from Pressure tek when i ordered machine.

5 feet works best. mine blow halfway between ground and trigger gun

Were you able to order this online or do you have to call and speak to them?

I call. I call them and dultmeier because their websites are an exercise in frustration.

I call Steve, leave a voice mail, 2 weeks later I have a pallet of hose

The whip lines are for at the equipment right, sacrificial?

Would I order the same thing for a jump hose between my pressure washer and my hose reel? The same thing as a whip line?

Yep. Both go from the unit to the reels with the injector right in the middle. It just depends on how you lay out your trailer. I don’t use a sacrificial yet, but I will at the start of the new season. I’m gonna buy a second 8 gpm belt drive so I’ve gotta order another hose and whips anyhow.

Apparently Steve doesn’t work there anymore. I’m putting in an order too

I asked a stupid question about ends. I was thinking they had male quick connect ends and wanted to know if you could get different. Then I realized it says male THREADED ends. My bad.

Would you mind sharing about how long shipping took to get the hose to you?

About a week.

I put in my order last week on Tuesday, they said it would be here by that Friday, they ended up shipping on Monday and it arrived today Thursday.

Those Canadians work on a different time line Lol. Guy that owns company owns about three or four businesses in the same row of buildings. I think some of the employees are interchangeable. I have talked to him a couple of times. I ordered 10 sections last year and the invoice came from some telecommunications company. He straightened it out and told me about how he has a lot of stuff going on. I can appreciate that. Can’t beat the price.
