Answerworx, Bidslot or other Answering Services

Have you guys had any experience with using Answerworx, Bidslot, or any other answering/ appointment setting services? I feel that Im losing out on some business by not being able to answer all calls right away, especially the calls from google.

What was your experience like? Are you still using that service?

I use bidslot. They are amazing, give April a call. You won’t be disappointed.

They take my calls, get the customers information, address, email address, and services they are wanting. Then tell them an estimate will be emailed to them in the next 24 hours. They take on average 5-6 business calls a day for me (most of my customers fill out our get a quote form online).

After each call a detailed email is sent to you with all of the information. ( i have a filter on my email so they all go to one folder)

I also use them to do call backs or appoitment reminders. They have a portal online you can assign them a task. Super easy to use. It’s fairly cheap 5 hours of working time for $170. This year I’ve spent like $400 and haven’t had to worry about answering my phone.

Once I sent an estimate via email most of the time customers use that source as the new way to communicate.

They answer the calls 99% of the time within a few rings. I think maybe one or two calls this year went to voicemail (which they control and call back ppl who leave messages after hours and sundays)

It makes you appear to be way larger and professional. I get customers all the time that tell me your office lady is so nice. (Litttle do they know she is in South Carolina lol.

Other great thing about this company is that they are American based and not calls directed overseas to large call centers.

Call April, she will answer all questions. I hesitated for about 2 months before pulling the trigger and so far it’s been the best businesss decision I’ve made this year.

Do you get a new number assigned or can use a number you have? How does that work?

I actually bought a simple basic phone to take just business calls.

But the price on this does not sound to bad once I get going.

you can keep your number

Two options

  1. call forward to a number bidslot gives you. They will tell you how, but you have to keep the cell phone on in order for this to work.

  2. they can port your number over to them

I went with the porting route, they take your number and put it on their system. You can have it back whenever you want.

Do you have 2 phones or numbers?

Like the number is ported to them & they answer, when you call or text back is it from a different number or the number you ported?

When I call a customer (which is rare)it’s off my personal phone with a different number.

Bidslot uses my business number, if they call someone it shows up as my business number.

This is great intel @Patriotspwashing. That’s very reasonable and it sounds like it’s done your business well.

I’m probably going to call them on Monday. If I call bidslot and ask for April they’ll know who it is? Or Is April just your point of contact?

April owns the company and very actively manages it. She’s great

If you call April will answer, she owns and manages. I think she may have 3-4 others in the office.

She’s awesome though
