I recently moved my 8GPM into a trailer. I set it up and ran the machine but it’s surging almost like the pump is starved. I changed the pump oil. I reset the unloader. I put everything the same as it was in the truck. The whole unit only has 250 hrs. on it. The unloader surges when in bypass. Same problem I had w/my 5GPM but instead this surges when running also.
What size bypass line are you using?
I use 3/4" coming from the unloader.
Sorry, I misread the original post and thought you went from a 5 to 8 gpm machine… if everything was working correctly prior to moving into the trailer I would guess there is air leak somewhere then.

I think I got it. Intake hose was losing prime. PIA after unbolting machine, unloader moving things around trailer.
