Hi guy, I am Alex Hobbs. I am just starting out with my business, Advanced Power Washing, in Delaware and surrounding areas. I picked up a 5x10 trailer for pretty cheap. Finally got around to painting the trailer and getting everything mocked up. I will be changing the A Frame pump and new wheels and tires this week. I also want to get everything connected and running by this coming weekend.
Pressure pro 5.5 @ 2500
35 gallon buffer
Hudson float valve
Suttner 2605 gun
GP high draw injector
Jrod from Bob for 5-6 gpm
6” nipple
3/4” and 1” white filters from Bob
2 GP 200’ 3/4” reels(why? I don’t know…they were cheap)
1 Liberty 200’ garden hose reel
150’ of NeverKink garden hose
200’ of 3/8 high pressure hose(1 wire)
I plan to take the gate off the back of the trailer. I also have a ton of space on this thing.
I need to get a surface cleaner, x-jet, and spare parts for everything still. I am a work in progress!
Ignore the junky garage(and the gutter drain)…that is a work in progress too lol.
Looks good. Id Personally strap a box to it and grab yourself a skid conversion for the wheeled unit aswell as use that little tank as a chem tank and grab a larger tank for more flexibility.
Looking good if you can weld mock a box up to put your hose reels the same height as your rails. If you cant weld plenty of people have built the same thing with 2x4s.
Yeah, I can’t weld lol. My brother and I are going to build a box to get the reels on. I am thinking have them sit at the same height as the rails on the trailer.
Thanks Garry! I have been lurking around here and YouTube for quite some time. I did pick up a zeny ladder rack from amazon that was linked in a post on here somewhere.
I do plan on getting to roofs one day, probably will start with a 12v system to get rolling.
South Jersey huh? Surprises me how some parts out there seem more country than Delaware. I have spent my fair share across the bridge.
Toss the garden hose reel and use one of your GP reels for the supply. That beige paint wont last 2 months. I’m in DE as well.
A Hudson float valve wont allow that tank to fill to 30 gallons, maybe 20? I dunno.
That A frame tongue is a great spot for a trailer box!
When you get a new jack for the tongue, consider getting a wheel, makes for moving around the garage a snap while building your trailer.
I’m still debating whether to remove the rear gate. It is slippery when wet and blocks rear access. I’m thinking of putting a rail across the back instead.
Hey Mark! Thanks for the advice man. Maybe I will keep the garden reel for the house. I do want to pick up a nice tool box to put the the A Frame. As of right now I have nothing but space but I’m sure as I grow that will be an issue. I was going to get a bulldog pump with the wheel from tractor supply but I’m going to check eastern marine first since I think the wheels and tires will be better priced.
I think removing the gate and putting a rail across the back is a good idea. The gates seem to serve no purpose for our trailer use. Maybe for advertising and signage.
So true. I grew up in a little town call Hainesport. Had about 30 kids in my 8th grade graduating class. Spent a lot of time at Phillies, Eagle, and Flyer games.
Yeah you are definitely a south Jersey guy lol. This small “tri-state” area is all about their Philly teams. I have never been to nor heard of Hainesport.
I have yet to get into the cheesesteak crazy and I have been coming out here for more than 15 years.
