Another logo critique... How do you guys like my new logo?

Yeah, the subscript sounds way better than professional services. Also, I’m not sure why some people have a problem with “Chariot” as a name for a cleaning company. I think it’s cool and unique, and easy to differentiate from the myriad of Pristine, Ultimate, Perfect, Pro, etc., meaningless and confusing (no offense) superlatives used in many names in this industry. Even “Infinity” has become overused and surprisingly confusable with the cable company with a somewhat similar name (:exploding_head:)

Depends on your jurisdiction how business licensing and name registration is charged and what they call it. Some places call any business name that’s not your legal name, a “fictitious name”

In VT, I pay around $50 to register my DBA name every 5 years. It protects me from anyone else opening a business with the same (or “confusingly similar”) name in VT.

I don’t have an LLC, mostly ‘cause I’ve been procrastinating it forever. Get it from the start, don’t overthink it.

I also pay $50/yr to my city for a business license.

Ah ok, the reason i ask is because I don’t think you need to make a long name, you can just name it chariot, or. Chariot 123 but on marketing you add the window and pressure cleaning
Just in case your specialty slowly deviates over the years to something other than those two services.
At the bottom of invoices you say make checks payable to Chariot 123 LLC. And at the bottom of your website you say copyright chariot 123 LLC. And so on and so forth

Id recommend doing it right the first time. Also get a separate phone line!

For the LLC, let me ask you. Say your name on google search comes up as ‘AquaMan Painting & Pressure Cleaning’

Is that the same name as your LLC or would your LLC just be AquaMan?

It really doesn’t matter what your name is on either honestly. If your LLC name is Chariot Professional services, you can do a DBA (doing business as) and have Chariot Window cleaning and pressure washing. They will both be under the same LLC, but allows you to run multiple businesses off the same LLC. That is my understanding anyway.

Window and pressure cleaning is fine, that’s just a graphic, first of many. It’s just marketing.

Your legal company name should not change.
We know Ford Motor Company simply as Ford. Just like people will know “Chariot Solutions of the Americas Incorporated” as Chariot Window and Pressure Cleaning. Get it?

No, get Google voice, once you get graphics and shirts and decals and invoices and email signatures, and your number everywhere else, it will be harder to change. I’m having to get a new personal number now.

Google listing can be either

God what I needed. Thanks.

No guy. The one with the guy is cheesy in my opinion.

It can get complicated. Check with your local county or swing into a local accounting shop and give them $100 to answer all your questions and give you guide lines on how to set it up. Some of the best money you’ll ever spend. And bring donuts :doughnut: with you. No joke

DBA are also complicated. Just ask lots of questions before you do it. Cost my a ton to straighten mine out.

Both are great, but the one with the guy is kinda cheesy and adds height and thin parts that could peel off once in sticker form, like on a window

Bottom one is serious and pro, it’s a good one

#3 for me. But the business name is too vague. imho.

No guy

No guy

Again, said before. Business name is way to vague. Maybe: Chariot Cleaning Services, Chariot Pressure Washing, Chariot Window Cleaning.

IMHO, Chariot professional services doesn’t inform regarding your services.

I think he settled on chariot as a business name, then mentioning the services he currently offers, which are window and pressure cleaning as a tag line

This is a very minor critique/suggestion for your consideration, but what if you called it “window and pressure washing?” there might be that 1 person out of 50 that doesn’t know what “pressure cleaning” means.

“Professional Services” is too vague.

Specialize a brand and then once you acquire clients you can sell them tangentially.
