Question I have another house with ALUMINIUM siding and green mildew on it… So this IS A WALK AWAY deal or can I soft wash it??

I did one house in a old subdivision and have had now 4 calls.
1 i did was vinal siding looked so good now they all want theirs to look as good…But some are Aluminium all are that old houses
It’s your call. Alot of people won’t touch it. I wash it but I’m very selective. I would say no to all of them but aluminum siding was very popular in northeast Ohio and its on at least 30% of the homes near me. I would say 1 out of 4 calls I get is for aluminum. If it’s extremely oxidized I won’t touch it. it’s a risk for sure.
@Fatdaddy aluminum does not clean like vinyl. You’ll be there a month of sundays trying to get it cleaned when it’s typically something that’s in the coating and won’t come off.
If they were my friends I’d get them a gift card to Sherwin Williams. If it’s not a friend, I’d walk so I don’t have to pay my deductible for a job that is worth less than the deductible to begin with. Then you’re out $300 from a botched house wash and $500 for your deductible.

If you do it go with a 50/50 mix of sodium hydroxide and Xjet. 20 minute dwell time, then rinse

Turned out Great no issues and clean…
2hrs $500…did the hydroxide did a small area first let it set and came right off

What came off… the paint?
only the green came off nothing else it cleaned up… I even pressure washed it
Did all this on the back side 4’ wide let it set dry and it was clean
