Cleaned this aluminum deck the other day. Deck is 10 years old and looked brand new when I was finished. If you ever run into one, they’re pretty easy to clean, very similar to composite type decking except can use weaker solution. This one was just done with my HW solution and then rinsed with my m5ds nozzle set on a medium fan spray. Not slippery at all even with soap solution on. Definitely a low maintenance way to go with your decking. Expensive up front, but basically no expense to speak of after that.

I wonder if they installed ground rods in each corner? I’d assume it’s part of the installation process.
He put down over his original deck. Still has the wooden frame underneath. He just got tired of all the maintenance of the wood. He just put roofing felt down over old and then had this installed. The way the channels interlock it’s waterproof underneath.

I did one a few weeks ago (same thing, HW mix and a little brush agitation) and I’m doing another larger one tomorrow. If you don’t wear sunglasses you will practically get snow blindness if it’s a sunny day!
