Aluminum Bleachers

I have been asked to clean the aluminum bleachers before high school graduation. The bleachers are only a year old and in great shape. They need just basic cleaning. Dust, soda spills, bird droppings, etc. Online search says just use soap and water. Any suggestions? Just water and light pressure? HW mix? (will SH harm the new aluminum/) I’m using a 5gpm hot water machine. Thanks for any help.

Hot water is probably fine for aluminum, no soap. It’ll pick up the gum and soda and general grime off aluminum fast.

I wouldn’t use SH on bare aluminum though.

Thanks for the response Brodie. I called the manufacturer today and they said the same thing. Mild soap if necessary but warm water should be all thats needed.
