I’ve been doing concrete resurfacing for (25) years and one of the first steps in the process is pressure washing. I have a DeWalt 3,800 p.s.i. with an AAA pump and it “kicks”. I normally can get by with muriatic acid, baking soda to neutralize, chlorine on mold & mildew and a custom heavy-duty cleaner.
cleaner recipe: (3.5) gallons of water, (1) gallon chlorine, (12) oz. sodium hydroxide. in a (5) gallon bucket with lid. Occasionally naval jelly on rust.
Usually not overly concerned with stains since we overlay most concrete following wash. Occasionally I do need to address serious stains and would like someone from this site to post a glossary of what the heck some of the products I’ve been reading about are. SH, Oxalic acid, and other terms I’m unfamiliar with. Thanks for the help !
