Has anyone had any experience with Alkane Sulfonic Acid? From what I read it’s generally used as a descaler. The product I came by contains this chemical which is a competitor of hydrochloric acid based cleaners. Claims it is easier on metals than hydrochloric acid.
What is the product you came across and what are you trying to accomplish by using it?
Eco-Lyme. Was wondering if anyone had experience with the Chem for rust removal or lime/calcium build up concrete, brick, or stone.

No experience with it… why not just use oxalic acid?
