Algaecide stain on sandstone paver

Hi everyone,
I’m quoting on a pressure washing job for sandstone pavers and during my walk around noticed an area where the gardeners had sprayed some sort of algaecide on the steps that has left a green stain on them (gardener explained that one of the apprentices had done this). I’m not going to quote for any stain removal (owner has accepted the stain will be permanent in his mind), however, is it possible that SH can remove it? If I can improve or remove the stain the owner will be thrilled. Anyone had any any experience with this before? Thanks.

Looks copper based, but don’t officially know.

I’ll try and find out the exact product they used.

Try citric acid and see what happens
