After deck wash, how many days do u wait. to paint or stain

How many days do you wait to stain and or paint the deck. after the job is done. ! this guy wants the original wood look back. I’m going to us (sh and deck bright )to clean the deck, does this sound about right ??? 20190418_154801|374x500

You need to get a moisture meter and make sure that the wood is dried out before staining.
