I’m just starting and getting insurance quotes. Most of them are in the $4,000-$5,000/year range. I see some people have closer to $500/year. The agent I talked with said that if the primary work is pressure washing that it makes the rate a lot higher. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Keep shopping, some companies are just absurd with prices.
I have my “primary work” as pressure washing and my 1 million general liability is only $552 a year. With equipment coverage also. You just haven’t spoken to the right agent.

What do you guys with 1k or less per year policies claim for payroll?
I use a guy out of Alabama, Ted with Farmers. And I don’t have payroll. Just me. For now. May have to purchase workers comp here soon.
