Do you guys full throttle your machines even when soft washing?
My machine has a pressure adjuster, some people say to run it full pressure at all times… Is this correct?

These air cooled engines need to be run at full throttle at all times.

Use the proper tips to reduce pressure, not flow.

Yes because of the reasons Thad states you should run your engine at full throttle at all times.
As for that pressure adjuster if your talking about the unloader that goes to your pump that should be set at the max pressure the specs for the pump allow. If you lower the pressure there you will also lower the amount of water(gpm) that come out of the pump which will slow down your cleaning process. It’s because of this Thad is suggesting to just change tips and that’s what most of us “professionals” do
Professionals,
I’m a Newbie. I have a Cat pump 3500 4GPM after adjusting un-loader to spec’s, what pressure or tip should I purchase to wash vinyl siding ,etc. plan to use x-jet to soap then wash down . what pressure do you recommend.
