Adding PW to my window cleaning business

Hi guys going to be purchasing some pressure washing equipment to start doing soft washing and pressure washing alongside my window cleaning. Just wanted to run my items by the hive and see if I am forgetting anything. My budget is around 3k. Ordering from Bob.

4 GPM belt drive with general pump
Whisper wash classic
Down stream nozzle kit
Elemonator or Simple Cherry (Which would be better for stucco?)
3x50’ Goodyear blue pressure hose

Couple questions I have is what extra nozzles should I be getting so I can drop the psi down for my wand and surface cleaner. Almost all the houses I do are stucco some smooth wall some are rough. The problem that a lot of my customers have is with bird and bat droppings some to the point that is a left dripping stains down the stucco. Is this something that a standard HW mix will take care of? Which surfactant should I be using?

Already a WCRA member once I get the equipment the PWRA membership will be right around the corner for sure. Wish I could make it Nashville but hopefully next year.

Thanks in advance

Stucco, you might want to pick up a X-jet M5. We don’t have much stucco around my parts, but I read a lot of people needing a hotter mix on stucco.

Thanks!! I will look into that now

We use our roof pump in the northeast. What are you cleaning from the stucco Robbie?

It’s mostly just dirt, spider webs, bird and bat droppings. When I wash windows on some of my houses there are streaks below the windows after I’m done washing. I believe it’s from the house being extremely dirty.

We don’t get a lot of rain in Vegas so I am thinking of trying to leverage them to get there homes washed.

I pretty much do high end residential and there is always the bird and bat droppings on there window popouts.

The streaks below the windows could be extractive staining from aluminum components in the window or staining from the caulk used to seal the units. It doesn’t often come off easily.

A standard downstream may work on a mildly dirty EIFS finish but full strength roof mix is sometimes needed for the uglies.

How strong of a mix can I safely use on stucco usually? I know the answer probably varies and I would always test a sample spot before I do a whole wall.

We sometimes hit it with 5% active ingredient on the wall.

Yeah, do a test run. I recently had Sherwin Williams’ Superpaint react with my HouseWash mix. Discolored streaking in a few areas. I thought it was pre-existing but ended up rolling out new paint on those areas to put it behind me. My house wash mix is 2 gallons SH, 3 gallons of water and elemonator d/s. Pretty dilute but still had an issue.
You asked about what else you should get.
Jrod?
