A new Milestone: Day Off on Statutory Holiday

It is a statutory Holiday today (in Canada). I took the day off! Something I have not done since I started my business 8 months ago.

Every stat holiday, until today, I had some form of work lined up. I needed it.

Today, I have enough in the bank and a full schedule that I took the family to the beach instead of working. It was an awesome feeling, and my family is happier to be able to relax once in a while and hang out.

Thanks to all you guys, your contributions here helped make today possible.

LOL…At first I thought you spelled “state” wrong. (Then I read the post) Funny how different our terminology is on some things.

Congrats on crossing that line! Little milestones like having actual vacation days are a nice reward for our hard work. Good for you!

Ok, so I guess “State Holiday” would be the right term for those in the USA.
