I was thinking against the wall in front of the side door , or next to the machine on the right side. I also saw another build were they mounted 2 rails over the machine and mounted reels on them across.
Where the pump sprayers are would be ideal… or like you said back corner next to machine and you can have more room/use a hand/leg to maneuver hose.
Liner looks good.
You got to careful with the tank it depends on what kind of water supply he is going to have in his area. I run 100 gallon tank and my 5.5 will suck it dry on some jobs. The new build will have a 250 gallon tank and a 50 buffer tank. @Cleanandshiny in your area are you working off city water or wells?
Totally forgot about them bibs… ill get them out to ya.
Sorry, thought i was PMing somehow.
Im leaning towards placing reels by where the pump up sprayer are.
Thanks
I live in ny long island most have public water but closer to the shore and place on the north side of the island i have read online jave wells
You will be fine for normal house wash you may run low if you are surface cleaning. But every machine is different you gotta test it and then test it some more. You will change your set up 10 times before you are happy with it. And that’s ok because what works for you may not work for everyone
Thank you sir very true and yes i expect to keep making changes as i go grow
I have 5x8 v nose, with 125 gal tank , 8gpm PW, 8 gal fuel tank , two hose reels and surface cleaner .
Few photos.
Nice setup. How many gallon fuel tank is that? I assume it has a drop tube that runs down to the bottom. Did the drop tube come with the tank? I’ve been looking into getting about a 20 gallon tank but not sure if I want to get one with the fittings on top or on the bottom.
I think it was @Sharpe who purchased a similar one and it leaked. What did you end up doing Rick? Did they send you a new one? I can’t remember what happened.
I seen this build i really am thinking about mountings the reels as you did, you really did a great job with the small trailer
Great little setup
Exactly where mine are mounted.
Keep the 5.5 belt. I had a 65 gallon on my 5.5 and never ran low of water. Swapped to an 8 and 100 gallon and ran it dry several times.
Well that’s why the 5.5 is the sweet spot but that’s a whole different thread.
I got busy and didnt peruse it. Just bought another one from summit.
Do cut outs have doors?
Did you get the same one or buy a better one? I’ve been browsing eBay but every time I look I think of yours…lol
Thank you. It is 8 gal. Tube came with it and i added fuel gouge. look at boydwelding.com he has nice aluminum tanks and he does custom work.
I think You can fit two reels on the back above Pw and in front have room for 12v set up with 55gal drum and hose reel.
