53 gal poly drum handling

Thank you. When I built my trailer i put a 65 gallon tank on there for SH. I was gonna build a cage for 55 gallon drums but thought I’d go with the tank and transfer as needed. You’ve been around for a minute and have learned a lot of things, I’m still trying to find my way.

I’ve hauled tons of stuff in my trucks on pallets, don’t care for it, especially when it is metal banded/strapped down to the center of the pallet. But in this case I can put it on one end of the pallet, and continue to ratchet strap it down as I have been doing with the tire behind it. That bending tire cares and carresses the poly drum in a non sexual way while still providing the operator of the vehicle with a warm and fuzzy feeling while doing 65 up the curvy mountain roads. Now if I was a true hillbilly (I’m an import), I would be drinking a beer and then throwing it out the window, singing country songs, putting the hamnmer down while coal rolling all the locals, in a super jacked up diesel f150 from the early 90’s rusted through and through. I’m not, and I don’t have as much fun.

I’m curious about a diesel F150 from the 90’s

Me too. Didn’t know they were putting diesels in half tons way back then.

Narrator: They weren’t.

wow, ok, f250 if it makes you happier.

blue oval, red bowtie, picture of a horned mammal, it is all marketing and all the same to me.

Okay but is it an IDI F250 or a TurboDiesel? These things matter.

Pick your poison thread derailer

Personally, it’s a Ford so I’d probably just abuse it and sell it to one of the hombres down South for enough to cover a case of cold snacks and some beef jerky. But, if I must choose, I’d take the TurboDiesel. At least those aren’t completely gutless.

Just giving you grief lol
