4 Bar Vs 4 nozzle (single bar) surface cleaner

This is aimed for Michael Kriesly and was going to PM him but figured might help others too!
Michael, I am subscribed to your YouTube channel and love all of your videos. I did the DS injector bypass mod and love it but now your latest video I see you have a 4 nozzle (single) spray bar I kinda want to try it. Currently I have a 21" Mosmatic with my 8 GPM 3000 psi pressure pro and I have the 4 Bar (2 nozzles at 19" and 2 at 14") that works great and way better than the single bar with only 2 nozzles I am wondering if you find any difference between 4 bar and single bar with 4 nozzles? Also your bar seems to be fairly big like 5/8 possibly? Mine is only 1/4 inch as well as my line from the gun is only 1/4 so I am getting the line changed today as a quick test then maybe get a bigger bar and make it at my buddy’s fab shop. Any tips would be great. Also I live on the west coast of Canada just above Seattle in Victoria BC so shipping new parts takes a while that’s why I would be interested in making my own. THANX!

Emerson,

I have only used single and three bar cleaners. It looks like yours is essentially the same except for separated. Mosmatic makes good swivels, so not sure if you’d notice much difference in the Whisper Wash swivel.

I like the one bar/4 tips idea, how is that working for ya? Did you buy the bar or make it yourself

Whisper Wash has the option for a single bar with 2 nozzles, or a single bar with 4 nozzles for a little more $$.

Im also curious as to the difference the 4 nozzle makes compared to the 2.

I didnt see this option until after my 2 nozzle purchase.

Im wondering if the extra 2 nozzles will allow you to move a little faster with less stripping.

Sargent cleaning path definitely helps speed. When I went to my 4 bar I was shocked by the increase walking speed but my mosmatic is only 1/4 inch bar so I’m looking into making my own but it’s turning out to be pricey. Machine shop said $160 if I supply the materials.

What size jets are you running in that Michael. I have 2502s but maybe that’s too small. What do you reccomend for 4 jet spray bar?

The 2502’s are working just fine.

I was thinking about some 1502s for exposed aggregate. Any thoughts

2502 will cut through.

You should be ok. Give it a try.

I feel a 15 degree nozzle is too much “Direct Impact” for exposed aggregate. If it’s bad we just DS some house wash mix…dwell…and roll with the 2502’s.

Just Saying…

I can only say that with the Whisper Wash SC’s…heck yea!

We changed to the 4 nozzles on our Big Guy’s a couple of years ago and the difference was amazing. Speed was just a little faster but because we didn’t have to go back over stripping, so overall time was much less.

When I saw Michael’s video of the 4 nozzle WW Classic… I just had to have one…Got-Toe-Mighty!!! That Thing Is Fast!!!

I’m getting a 4 nozzle single bar being made custom for my mosmatic to try and help flow. The I/d of my current bar is 1/4 so were making a bigger one to have less restriction. See what happends
