34,000 sq ft post construction

The only thing this has to do with Fleet Washing is that I passed on my business card to wash some trucks for a company that does concrete work.

Just received a call this morning to prep approximately 34,000 sq ft of concrete for stripping. It’ll be freshly poured concrete and all that needs to be done from the guy I talked to this morning is to, as he said, hose it off so the surface is debris free to stripe.

Anyone have any experience in this that can PM me or I can call? Guy wants a bid in today as early as possible.

I am also calling sweeper companies to include that in my bid.

But I’m assuming once it’s cleaned by a truck I’d just use a water broom with lower pressure to finish the job.

I won’t be much help as I am kind of new to the this industry, but I have over 20 years experience in the material handling world. I would recommend a sweeper/scrubber. You can sweep it and also apply water. A couple of vendors are Tennant or Nilfisk Advance. You can search for a local dealer.

Good Luck

Sweeper isn’t necessary. The company I would subcontract thru will put it in their bid to only be a light dusting to light dirt. If Mud then a change order will be submitted

I just got off the phone from someone that does this south of me. He says he quotes anywhere from $0.06-$0.15 square foot depending on the company, what is being built and frequency of commercial services. He advized anywhere from $0.05 to $0.10 to do the service. I bid at $0.08 for only a light dusting dirt. If heavier mud and debris there will be a readjustment and a change order will have to be submitted
