Making my first truck mounted setup with buffer tank… Truck will have an 8gpm machine on it… What is everyone else using? 200 or 300 gallons? I would love to have a 300 gallon tank but I would also like to have the extra 18" of space in the bed…
I have a 325 gal tank on a tandem axle trailer for an 8gpm machine. Most of the time leaving the tank half full to keep the weight off while driving.

I use a 8 gpm with a 225 and depending on the neighborhood I am in it can be a problem keeping up, or can be no issue at all, and yes I have two supplie lines. Seems the newew sub divisions around here have really crap water supplies, and the older neighborhoods have very good water supplies.
We can carry up to 800 gallons on our flatbed. If I had to choose between a 200 or 300 holding tank I would go with the larger.
