I would check www.powerewashstoretn.com since they made the video. If you can’t find it on their site call them and ask referencing the video they made.
They look custom made? Question- why is there a valve on proportioners for water? Isn’t always full on?
The way I understand it, you can close the water a bit to get more than 50% mix of bleach. Technically should be able to close all the way to pull straight SH.
If that was your question.
Those would be pretty easy to make if you can’t find them. Bend the steel to shape in a vice and drill hoses on each side. Looks like it’s just 1/8" thick stainless plate but you could probably get by with 3/32 especially if you use stainless. It’s stiffer. Carbon steel would be easier to bend but you’d have to paint or powder coat when done making them.
I can’t see a pro doing that.
What do you guys use to secure your ball valves? Without cracking pipes fron the stress of turning them?
I usually find a solid area of the valve and tap a couple 6-32 or 8-32 bolt holes. I then take an “L” bracket or something, weld it to the trailer or screw it into the wood floor, and attach little machine screws.
These are the valves I like using because of the Viton seals. Instead of taping the small threaded holes you could even just take a couple nuts off the end of the valve, attach a bracket, and tighten the nuts back down.
These valves also come in two way.
Any of the powerwash stores have the brackets and some of the others do too. They’re pretty reasonable. With the smaller valves, like 1/2 and below, just be careful when you turn. I’ve been running for years and never needed a bracket on those. Any larger than 1/2" then you definitely need, takes a decent amount of force to turn.
@Sasquatch - I switch my water off all the time. Couple of reasons, priming, SH transfer and when flushing the SH valve.
I cant find the brackets on any websites. I guess i have to call
No… you need this to adjust your strength and it also helps with priming your system.
