3/8 quick connect to 1/4 quick connect

I’d think that would make utilizing a ball valve for that scenario even less optimal. You’re going to still need to turn it on/off a reasonable amount unless you’re doing a massive area. Maybe a little flip’n’lock latch of some sort to aid in holding the trigger “on” would be a better option?

I tied the trigger shut on my surface cleaner once & just used the ball valve as on/off. I really didn’t care for it & came to appreciate the trigger. I’d recommend giving that a try to see how you like it first. It wasn’t for me. Not sure what kind of surface cleaner you have, but just looking at my Whisper Wash 16, it would take very little effort to flip the top handle over & run it as a lefty. Beyond that, a flow actuated unloader like a ZK1 would make that trigger much easier to deal with.
