25030--5.5 GPM--20 in SC

Come off the swivel with it and have it facing forward

If everyone knows not to use 4000 psi on concrete, why is it that every surface cleaner I look at buying says it’s for 4-8gpm machines and comes with 2502s? So when you buy one these you have to change the tips first thing and throw away useless tips? Why would then not come with 25025s at a minimum if 4 gpm is the minimum washer size?

It would be a rare machine indeed that have 4k at the tips. I don’t really know of any on the market. Surface cleaners have to come with something and 2502 will cover about 95% of the machines out there

I get you won’t have 4k at the tips, but still more than 3000 and that’s on a 4 gpm machine. I have 25025s in my on a 4 gpm and checked out at the gun and saw 2200 with 100ft of hose. You would think it a SC is advertised as being for 4-8 gpm, it would come with larger tips just to be in the safe side. It’s better to be a bit slower than to etch someones driveway. Many people starting out just don’t understand how to size nozzles.

You’d be happier with 2502’s on your surface cleaner, or at least more effecient. Different things make people happy. I like pickled okra dipped in sour cream, but that may not make someone else happy.

Thanks, I’m going to do some testing and try it out. I’ve only tried the 25s so far. I’m curious what my actual pressure will be and how it floats

I’ve been running the factory 2502 tips from Whisper Wash at 4gpm from the get go with zero issues or complaints so far. I also use a ball valve so it could be used to reduce flow if the need were to arise.

So I tested it out last night. With the 2502s I was right at 3200 at the gun. That should be perfect for the older residential concrete I do. The 25025s cleaned good if it was only dirty, but any algae or lichen clumps and I had to go over multiple times. Hopefully the extra 1000 psi helps take care of that. I’ll find out tomorrow. Thanks for the tip :+1:
