2018 pressure washing $0 - $100,000?

Remember pet rocks, pagers, 12 volt fans for the dashboard? Heck, I called my baby brother yesterday and he said he answered the call from his watch. Cellular phones will be gone soon. Knock on doors and meet people. It will win over websites in this business all day long

you guys can do word of mouth and door hangers.

i’ll do both of those AND have a website.

that way you can have a company that caps out at 100,000 and i’ll soar past that. And we can circle back and meet here in a few years. Yenno. ON THE INTERNET.

I did 100k last year. In Nov and Dec  I’m kinda tongue in cheek about the internet but I personally don’t use my website for bringing in customers. There is so much stuff on mine I want to get rid off but I don’t know how and the builder isn’t the most helpful.

If it is that easy to rank in your area, you have a wordpress website, you should be able to easily rank next to or number 1 in your area and the surrounding areas for almost any term related to your services.

10 hours SEO research, 5-10 hours creating copy, 5 hours back linking and you should be dominating. What’s great is that it does not have to be a sit and do it all in one setting kind of thing. You could do 1 hour a day for 30 days and in 3 months you will see a huge spike in rankings.

Study these few things and get back to me and I will guide you through the rest.

  • Onsite SEO structure using wordpress. You could search something like “create wordpress blog seo” and get some good articles

  • “Long tail keywords”

  • “local Keyword research using adwords” You don’t need to buy if you can rank.

Some experience plays in, but a novice with your market should be able to rank easily.

Im in Houston,
Theres a power washer on every corner. To rank high organically here would cost a lot (time or money). I was just saying that depending on someones market it could potentially be a very good thing to have a website, but if your in a heavily competitive market its going to be a up hill battle.

I agree, I have been learning and working on my SEO during the downtime this winter and went from page 4 to page 1 in a week. Other companies on the same keyword in my area are 10 plus years… our website has been up for 8 months. The other key is to learn how to use google webmaster to help speed up the process of getting your site indexed. You can fetch and render ( sometimes the results can be instant).

Same. Do it, but rely on other marketing methods. Do this because you have to get momentum. This is a slow, tedious, and not wholly worthwhile process, but it will keep food in your belly.

Always be marketing. 30% of your revenue should be testing and trying marketing methods to find the 20% that brings in 80% of your profit in the first 6 months. Scrap everything that doesn’t work.

Get the window cleaners marketing blueprint. It’s free now. Those methods are tried and proven to work.

There was a big marketing thread made back about the best marketing techniques. A lot of people put down what works best in the order of what works best. I took the top one and did that. It worked great. Now I am trying about 20 - 30 different things this year. Hoping to land about 10 - 15 forms of marketing that can each get me at least 1 house per work. This will average to 4k per week. Next year I am planning on finding another 10 - 15 forms that all land me at least 1 job per week. Making my average sales 20-30 houses a week.

Any other strategies out there?
