Has anybody ran a 20 inch surface cleaner with a 3.5 gpm pump effectively?
I had a hard time with a 15” on a 3.5 gpm for 6 years. It worked well enough, but I never was able to move “fast”. Didn’t bother me enough to make me upgrade, however, I would never recommend it to anyone wanting to get into business unless your surface cleaning would be absolutely minimal, say like the 10’ x 10’ rear concrete slabs at houses, or a single car driveway. Pre & post treatment will need to be a regular thing lots of your cleanings.
Thank you
You can run any size you want, it just comes down to how fast you can move with it. Also, making sure you have the right size nozzles. 4" per gpm is the general rule. I run a 4gpm and an 18" and it does fine, I just have to move at a slow walking pace. I don’t think I’d do a 20" with only 3.5.
Thanks for the reply. Yeah im leaning towards a 16"
