Not sure if your the same person …I think so in regards to your phone script. Always send by email and this won’t happen…90% of our quotes we do through google street view or able to find pictures on realty website. Sounds creepy, but if no luck there I will search the person on Facebook, most people have a picture of there house on social media…for the other 5% I email them and ask permission to come on there property and tell them it will be a few days for a quote because we couldn’t find good satellite imagery.

Stop by the house when convenient to you…half the time you don’t even have to stop, just drive by and say holy smokes that’s a big house l.

Geo Area Map app. Works pretty well too.

Normally I would use the Google maps. I recently discovered the 3D feature. Now I can spin the house around and look at it from every angle. I’m old enough to remember before personal computers. This stuff now just blows my mind now.

But somebody on here mentioned that he only had 2 prices: one price for one story and one price for two stories. I forget who it was. But the reasoning is that most houses are pretty much in the same range and it doesn’t really take that much extra effort to bang out some extra square footage. The advantages of a super-simple pricing formula outweighs any money you might be leaving on the table. That sounded interesting to me, so I’ve been exploring it. Turns out the extra square footage is perhaps not a big issue. But the 87 dormers in every direction kind of get on your nerves.

I had to do gutter brightening on this one too. I’m going to dream about gutters tonight.

You use standard pricing for typical houses. Every region is different, is that a typical house in your area? Then that should be your standard two story house price/expectation.

For my area our typical two story house in MOST neighborhoods are identical to eachother as there were 3-4 big builders 10-15 years ago that use similar floor plans in subdivisions. 3,000 sq ft with no dormers, pretty easy cookie cutter homes.

Ex…

Typical two story home in my area I’m around $300-$380 depending on the time of the year. That house you posted, for the PITA factor would be min $480.

Use standard pricing for the convenience…but it’s definitely not set in concrete.

I got 99 problems but gutter brightening ain’t one…

I’d drop that service in a heart beat. To much easy money out there to be scrubbing degreaser on gutters

Y, that house with gutters should have been a $1000 job so at least you can count your money while you’re dreaming of gutters, lol. But I agree with @Patriotspwashing, that’s a $500 hw any day of the week, if not more.
