12v system vs DS

Hope everyone is having a profitable summer!

I wanted clarity on whether people are cleaning the sides of houses (vinyl, stucco, brick etc) with a dedicated 12v pump or are using a down stream injector off their pressure washing machine?

If so inclined, would like to hear reasoning, pros and cons and whatever info you would like to share on this topic.

I’m in my year of business and am trying to make sense of everything.

I have read what is on this sight pertaining to this topic but I wanted to start a new and updated thread.

Thanks in advance.

Depends on what you’re cleaning. 90% of my work only needs downstream mix to clean up.

12v is great for jobs where you need a lot of hot mix like roof washes. Can use pump up sprayers for bad spots on house washes if needed

12v is nailclippers, DS is a 48 inch zero turn. Both will cut grass.

DS you can soap and rinse faster. You don’t need the increase in SH that a 12v provides for vinyl siding. There are plenty of places a 12v will be usefull it’s just not needed for siding on most houses.

What is there to update? 12v is a specific tool as well as DSing. Only way id be 12v a house is if the municipality had a noise ordinance about combustion engines. Which one in my service area has so i dont service that area.

I use my 12v quite a bit on houses. DS just doesn’t cut it on some really bad spots.

I had a house recently that hadn’t been cleaned in years, the sheer volume of lichens was appalling. Several layers of organic junk on a few lengths of gutters too.

Even with the bulletproof ds injector from PW Gadgets? Have you tried it @dcbrock ?
It works well.

Yes I have one, it runs about .8% SH on my machine which is great for basic housewashes.
