I think you’ll like that Remco pump. It’s the Made in USA stuff. Rural King price is hard to beat, so hurts less when it’s time to replace as it’s a disposable item after all.
Costco sells Interstate 27DC Deep Cycle battery for $88 + tax. Easy to do warranty return and I’ve had one for over a year with no issue. Just need to make sure to top it off often, especially on days you used it.
I did see those Costco batteries a couple days ago. Seems like a good way to go. I like those AGM batteries too but they run double that.
I remember @Racer saying there’s no need to pay the extra for the AGM batteries for this application, and after my limited experience, I tend to agree. Again, at $88 and Costco warranty service, it’s a low risk trial. Hope the setup goes smoothly!
AGM not worth it. Buy two 27’s and hook them in parallel so you can run longer. Remember to charge them. Can only deplete a cell one time and you only have so many cells.
