12v add on

Thanks but id rather not. I figure someone will chime in that has the same system.

Hey @OC2X I have them same kit from pressure tek. Love it so far. Iā€™m 99% sure the inlet is the top one in your picture with the hose on it and the outlet is the bottom. On the head of the pump (on the left side of your picture) you will find an arrow.

Actually I just zoomed in and I think you can see the arrow in the picture. Itā€™s facing down. So yes the top is inlet and bottom is outlet.

Ditto. Two arrows, it appears:

Thank yā€™all. I was just getting back on to say that I figured it out. Lol maybe I should have just looked a little better. But I assumed it be right on too easy to see.
@PalmettoPW have you got to test it out yet?

Yes Iā€™ve used it quite a bit. Works great. Havenā€™t had a roof yet but have washed houses and pre/post treated driveways with it. One thing I have had to do to the kit is add a oring/gasket to the trigger gun where the hose barb screws in. Yours may be different but mine ran out of threads before it bottomed out so it leaked bad. I just went to ACE hardware and got a gasket that fit. Worked like a charm.

I was wondering about that today when putting the gun together. Thanks for the info Iā€™ll get an oring in it tomorrow. Has it helped increase your speed on concrete?

I canā€™t comment on that because Iā€™ve only pre/post treated this way so I have nothing to compare it to. But a post treat definitely makes the concrete look good!

That looks good.
Thereā€™s tons of exposed aggregate around here to wash. Iā€™m looking forward to seeing an increase in speed. Man itā€™s quite a bit time consuming compared to usual concrete.

Did you add the 3way valve to yours?

@OC2X No but I like that. I just move my dropstick to where ever I need it. Did you do that to switch from different mixes or to switch from sh to water? Whereā€™d you get that valve?

Valve came from pressure tek. Yes water in one side 24/7 and soap etc on the other. I think you can find them cheaper on Amazon.
Id like to add the quick connect clips that Iā€™ve seen on 12v so I could switch to different chris quicker. Iā€™m not sure what they are called or where to find them.

Definitely want to add a q.c. to the end of the gun. I see it being a head ache attached with the bard

@OC2X here are some typical mix ratios for batch mixes. I used a 5.3gpm pump on my previous rig for about 5 months and didnā€™t have an issue with it. I used Elemonator as my surfactant instead of the fresh wash, but at a lower ratio.

Thanks. I just got a couple 30 gal drums to mix in. This will be helpful

You may need at least 2 of the 30ā€™s. I always used a 55 gallon to batch mix for roofs.

Im planning to have one mixed for roof and another full strength for a back up. On a walkable roof what do you figure you get gallon:square foot?. Obviously this has been asked a million times. Iā€™ll figure it out for myself this year.

I havenā€™t done the math on thatā€¦ I have never used more than 55 gallons batch mix on a roof. Most roofs were between 1700-2800 sq ft. You could plan on approx.15-20 gallons of SH based on that. Each roof cost me out of pocket $40 in SH alone on most occasions.
