Started pressure washing in 1997, finally got a few employees in 2008, realized they worked half my speed so got a 30hp van mount with tank and reels (they still worked slower), then wound down with the pressure washing after adding roof scrape and treat, gutters windows, etc in about 2012, because when the pressure washer went down our only van couldn’t be used and seemed to be most of the problems for 1/4 of the business.

I just moved to California and got inspired about the soft washing, and decided to add back the pressure washing as my staple of roof scrape and treats isn’t needed here and I am doing the work and always enjoyed the instant satisfaction of a job well done.

Looking forward to getting a truck mount system once I figure out if the soft wash and pressure washing work here in arid Southern California. Happy to find this forum!
