ZK1 Unloader on 4350psi?

Would it be possible to use a bigger orfice tip and lower the psi while going up to say 8.5-9gpm instead?

@DJPWS and @Innocentbystander Thank you gentlemen for your input, I appreciate it.
It can be confusing with specs in the US and Europe.
Honda IGX700 goes as 24hp in US, while 22hp in Europe - Same engine.
I can only assume its the samme when in US its called 40v battery for power tools, while the same battery in Europe is called a 36v battery. I dont know why this is being done.

General Pump on their webpage mention HP = Pressure x Flow in GPM / 1250 for industrial grade gas engine, and 1100 for standard gas grade engine.

I do not know what a Honda IGX700 24hp is reckoned as, but it seems to be one of the most expensive and newest petrol engine in that size. Could that be rated as industrial (1250) or standard (1100)?

So if I would use these calculations from General Pump I would get:

INTERPUMP 66 SERIES PUMP - 1750 RPM T2530
3650 psi x 7.95 gpm / 1250 = 23.21 hp
3600 rpm / 2.2 gearbox = 1636 rpm on a 1750 rpm pump

INTERPUMP 66 SERIES PUMP - 1750 RPM T2830
4000 psi x 7.95 gpm / 1250 = 25.44 hp
3600 rpm / 2.2 gearbox = 1636 rpm on a 1750 rpm pump

INTERPUMP 66 SERIES PUMP - 1450 RPM W3025
4350 psi x 6.6 gpm / 1250 = 22.97hp
3600 rpm / 2.2 gearbox = 1636 rpm on a 1450 rpm pump

INTERPUMP 66 SERIES PUMP - 1450 RPM W2035
2900 psi x 9.25 gpm / 1250 = 21.45hp
3600 rpm / 2.2 gearbox = 1636 rpm on a 1450 rpm pump

So yeah its hard to know what is best, do a 1450 rpm pump and push the limits on it a bit, or get a 1750 rpm pump and always be under the rpm of the pump specifications.

Pump for Gearbox use = 1750 RPM
Pump for belt drive use = RPM doesn’t matter, just “adjust” engine pulley…
I have 2 gearbox pumps and 2 belt driven pumps… I prefer gearbox due to zero maintenance. Just change oil when it’s time to change your pump oil.

So if I’m understanding correctly, I can put a Zk1 on my 4gpm/4000 unit but just don’t set it past 3600?

Technical Specifications

Max Temperature: 165 degrees F

Inlet Port: 3/8 inch

Max GPM: 10.8

Max PSI: 3600

Off trigger, the unloader bypasses 100% of the flow. On trigger, the percentage is determined by the adjustment bolt. When you take the unloader out of the box, the adjustment bolt will be all the way in. When you loosen it, it increases PSI by increasing GPM. If your engine is underpowered, you’ll reach a point where it will stall because it can’t push the GPM through your 04 orifice. With a GX630 at 6.8 GPM, the adjuster bolt on my ZK1 is backed all the way out to the max & only shows 3000 PSI on a gauge but I get 6.75 GPM with soap nozzles & 6.25 with pressure nozzles running through a 2.1 injector.
