Worth the risk?

Wasn’t worried about the copper. The tile not coming clean was primary concern.

Barrel tiles are pita sometimes, hit it with fresh sh, multiple angles per section, move on and repeat if needed.

I’ll try some fresh and see what happens. The SH I have is about 3-4 weeks old but I’m sure it could have been in a stock room for much longer. I did a barrel tile roof 2 weeks ago (definitely had to hit it from different angles and took a few coats as it is 100 years old and has never been cleaned) which is why this home owner contacted me. This roof I’m asking about isn’t barrel tile. It is flat.

This has been a very helpful thread. In my area the number of roofs that are covered in the black fungus. I haven’t started my business yet I’m planning to start in the spring and I’ve been debating doing roofs. I’ve driven around countless subdivisions and a big majority of homes have it. Now I have to figure out how to turn those in to customers.
