So apparently I wasn’t supposed to use sh🤦🏼♂️ This is one I’m working on now. All in all 600+ ft of dimensional privacy fence.
Read the deck 101 thread in it’s entirety, very informative. Lots of different chemicals to use on wood. SH use and other chems are talked about in that thread. I am not a pressure washer.

Hello and welcome to the forums.
This thread is actually about 7 years old, and many of the people that originally posted this information haven’t been on here for some time. If you read the deck 101 thread, you should have all the information you need to know to successfully tackle a fence cleaning. TO be concise, most people don’t softwash fences, they use a PW and chemicals to clean the fence, then you finish it however you like with stain or paint using brushes or sprayers.
