Whenever we go I always ask for the rare filet off the bat. Im sure they have a science behind trying to fill you up with bacon wrapped sausage and pork. Then they bring the filet at the end. They always stare at me weird like I have broken the code and then I end up eating 20 filets!
Smart. My sons birthday is next month and guess where the fam is going ;>)

LOL pretty big for Arkansas I suppose. For some reason I can’t zoom in on these pictures but it looks like a Timber from those stripes.
It is a timber rattler ,5 footer. I counted 13. Pretty bummed, I tried for a head shot to not ruin the hide.

Yep,drying as we speak, gonna try and salvage and tan the hide and put it up along side my diamondback I got in Mississippi
Dadgummit! Whatever you do make sure you get rid of that head where the dogs can’t get at it. He would’ve made a nice wallet or maybe even a thin hat band.
Ive been hoping to come across a rattle snake. I want some skin to put around the handle of my long bow.
