Why hasn't it worked?

Welcome, now introduce yourself. Your replies show you know little about business, but you are in the right place to learn. Do a lot of reading and researching and feel free to pitch in on anything that you are knowledgeable about.

You’re telling a guy that runs a seven figure a year business that his advice is bad? You must run an eight figure a year business then right?

Not even close, but dont let your obvious talents blur a weakness. Analogy: because I am strong I must be smart and because I know I’m not smart I must be smart.

I wasn’t insulting you…yet. I was making a point of how stupid it is to tell someone to do or not do something and then not tell them why.
Make love to your green beans ! …why?..Cause dam well said so boy.
LOL

You’ve obviously never been a child, in the military, a good follower or good employee lol.

You are describing growth.

Scaling by definition, is the increase of profit with little or no increase in labor, expense, and other resources.

In pressure washing or window cleaning, there are really only 3 ways to truly scale -

  1. Raise prices
  2. Reduce expenses.
  3. Improve efficiency.

To further illustrate, hiring employees is growing, not scaling, as the company is now taking on its greatest expense.

All I got out of that entire post was “Blah blah blah, I have no clue what I’m talking about and I got called out on my ignorance so now I’m just going to talk in circles and puff my little chest out and maybe that will impress the locals enough to back off”.

Well, sorry to burst your bubble but I’m not impressed.

There is something called …
Law of diminishing returns…
Got to go to school to learn it.

Scaling is bounded by this law.

Enough said

Thanks

There probably is a way to make a pressure washing business scale/ grow rapidly.

But how many people get into the business to do that? How many here have their business and want to do that? At some point that your of growth and expansion takes a huge toll on the individual in charge.

I’ve met a few HVAC company owners (field in currently in) who have $20m-100m a year companies and every single one said they wouldn’t do it again. To much stress, to much work.

I’m sure it could be done but you have to want to do it first.

That’s genius!

If you’re running a +$5 million a year business you should have very little stress imo (depending on your debt situation of course). Hire people to do the stressful things. People don’t know how to delegate, which is how they get burnt out.
