I believe he meant 5/8 and im sure he was referring to 1/2 or 5/8 but man I’d hate to be the guy working for him carrying 2 wire 5/8 hose

I did a job in the woods one time and didn’t know how positive my water source was. Went out and got a 2.5 gpm, backpack sprayed my Chems (ryobi battery powered ), used about 600 feet of feed line and about 150 feet of pressure. Bridge came out great.
I’m with @Racer. I’d find a hydrant and get a hydrant meter (water cost is about 7 dollars per 1k gallons in counties around me), use an RV pressure regulator from Walmart in the RV and tow section (about $15 bucks), and go crazy at tractor supply for cheap hose ($40 for 130ft of gray non-kink line). Get extra male and female fittings for your hose line! They’ll blow off sometimes. Bring your 4gpm with you, use 150ft pressure, and do the great job you know how to do.
