Weird splotches after house wash?

Message me your address and I’ll send you one of these when I get back from the conference.

What adjustable nozzle do you use?

@squidskc I have that same nozzle got it at HD for $9.99 and thats what I used For rinsing on last two houses and it’s nice. Only thing I dislike about it when I turn it to fan it’s not even. I went by NT just bc I had some time to kill and found this one here

I was gonna ask if anyone knew how they worked. It is only $19.99

I have a 4 gpm, 150’ of hose. What option should I use? I’ve heard people talk about getting a smaller gpm injector because it will draw better? Is this true

I have two x-jet m5’s, but even the pressure that comes out with the fan is too high sometimes. Plus, when downstreaming I don’t want to hook up the x jet just to rinse.

Which reminds me I need to get around to taking one apart, replacing the orifice, and cleaning it since I promised it to @instock weeks ago.

John, That’s still high pressure though. The M5DS is basically the same except it has bigger orifice that lowers the pressure dramatically. They make 3 different versions I think depending on what size your machine is. Similar to Xjet.

John, can you pm me or post a pic of your machine and setup. Let me see what you’ve got and how you’ve got setup. With a 4gpm machine you should be drawing like crazy. I get like 9-1 off my 4gpm. Do a draw test on your machine. Will take less than 5 min and then you’ll know.

Take nozzle off of hose and run it in a 5 gal bucket for one min EXACTLY using however much hose you normally use… See how much water it pulls. Then drop your injector hose in a container that has markings and run for Exactly 1 min. See how much it draws out of container. Then just divide out and that will tell you your draw rate.

I uploaded photos of my trailer, my pressure washer, hose reel (150’) and my dolly I use for the M5 jet. I down stream with it, right now I’m using the black orphice because I keep loosing my beige, red, and white tips. I make it work I just dilute it more, but it sucks cause I have to fill my Chem bucket up 2-4 times a job it’s sooooo annoying. Plus I hate lugging it around, I’d rather just downstream from the machine. I do like the M5 nozzle tho it’s convenient just to twist it. I did buy the soft wash nozzle kit (4 different heads welded together) but I don’t use it cause I can’t get my machine to downstream with that length of hose, I need to get a down stream injector that will worth with my hose length…anyway, so you are saying the M5 is too powerful and that’s what is causing the siding to splotch like that?

Oops sorry @Racer I just noticed you asked me to PM you

Replacement proportioners. Also, if you’re going to be tied to a bucket and a dolly, you can buy 7, 8, and 10 gallon buckets from uline that have the same footprint, but taller.

An injector will make like 100x easier though.

Just wanted to chime in on this quick… I joined this forum a month or so ago because I had this exact problem and couldn’t figure it out. got some great advice on here and having been making good progress. I’m no expert but I’ll say, squid and racer really know what they are talking about and are always willing to help. Take their advice

@Racer What kind of downstream injector do you use for your 4gpm to get 10-1? . I have a so called 10-1 that really draws 20-1 (I did bucket test) I use 150 ft hose.

Where at in Illinois?

2.1 3-5 gal

You call it leakers, i call them bleeders

To me it looks like some of the marks from where algae had been sitting for a few years. I see the same marks pretty often and it tells me either my mix is weak or I just need to hit it with sh again. Kinda wide for bleeders or leakers IMO
