Website from Fiverr

I am not saying that guy on fiverr is highly skilled, but it’s sad to see how much web work has turned into a race to the bottom job. It’s like the only way to make a decent living at it is to either work for a huge tech company or free lance and upsell on the hosting or maintenance.

I guess it depends on his strategy, perhaps he’s willing to work for cheap to get hundreds of jobs that will lead to bigger ones, also gets him a lot of people that will depend on his services in the future.
Other strategy is to get just a few high paying jobs.

I’m probably misunderstanding but I’d be careful if you’re offering a discount ONLY to people who try to leave your site. Anyway, that really does sound like a good deal, I must admit. I just can’t help but think it sounds too good to be true (most web guys won’t do “store” functionality to an existing site for $280, let alone an entire website). But hopefully it is just a legitimately great deal and it works out for you.

Just an email capture. Email marketing.

Anyway. 477 people talked me into it.

It actually works really well. It’s also good to throw a limited time discount that fires off after like 45 seconds on the page.

You could be really scummy and when they click the back button redirect them to your page so they can’t leave it that way.

Yeah I’ve heard exit intent pop ups work well in general, I just thought he meant he would offer a discount if they were about to leave the site without signing up and thought that would be a bit scummy in my opinion, but hes just recording emails it sounds like which is totally cool.

Decided to wordpress my own site. Had alot of downtime at work figured id use it wisely and learn how to make my own site  Good looking out @awesomewash2 wasnt to bad once you got the learning curve figured out. Home page and gallery are done now have to make residential and commercial tabs.

It’s made to be pretty simple, congrats on setting it up. Let me know if you have any questions.

You won’t regret it. Let me know when you get it close and I’ll take a look. The only pain with WP is they do a lot of updates and then you have to update all your plugins also. Not hard, Just something to keep an eye on. I have some tools that do automatically
